Welcome to my website
I am Hamid R. Sayarshad, and I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in industrial engineering from Iran, which I completed in 2006. Subsequently, I pursued my Ph.D. in civil engineering at Ryerson University in Canada, graduating in 2015. During my time at Ryerson University, I served as a research assistant at the Centre for Urban Energy (CUE). Following that, I worked as a postdoctoral associate in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University from 2016 to 2019. My research focuses on a variety of areas within the field of transportation engineering. I am particularly interested in demand analysis, multimodal networks, transport economics, urban logistics, freight transportation and logistics, dynamic optimization models, dynamic ridesharing, the dynamic pricing problem, machine learning, and disaster management.
